Legal Engineer / Regulatory Expert

What we’re looking for

This role is ideal for someone with a strong regulatory background who enjoys working hands-on with rules, interpretations, and real customer use cases.

  • Background in law, regulatory compliance, legal operations, or legal engineering
  • Strong experience with EU regulatory frameworks, preferably DORA, NIS2, or similar financial, ICT, or risk-related regulations
  • Deep understanding of how regulations are structured, interpreted, and applied in practice
  • Comfortable acting as a regulatory expert toward customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Experience testing, validating, and mapping regulatory requirements against systems or processes
  • Clear communicator who can explain complex regulatory topics in a practical, business-oriented way
  • Structured and detail-oriented

What you’ll do

Map and structure regulatory frameworks (e.g. DORA, NIS2) used in the Hy5 platform

  • Test and validate regulatory logic to ensure accuracy, consistency, and real-world applicability
  • Act as a regulatory subject-matter expert in customer and partner interactions
  • Support customer implementations by explaining regulatory scope, interpretations, and coverage
  • Work closely with product and engineering to ensure regulations are correctly represented and maintained
  • Continuously review regulatory updates and assess their impact on the platform
  • Serve as an internal point of reference for regulatory interpretation and best practice
Direct Sales Lead

What we're looking for

This is a front-line sales role, not a passive account caretaker. You enjoy the chase, are comfortable hearing “no,” and know how to turn curiosity into signed contracts.

  • Proven success in direct sales, account executive, business development, or commercial consulting roles.
  • A strong hunter mentality - comfortable with outbound prospecting, follow-ups, and pushing deals forward.
  • Experience owning deals end-to-end: from first contact to close, renewal, and expansion.
  • Ability to sell to senior stakeholders and decision-makers, navigating complex buying committees.
  • Sharp commercial instincts with a clear focus on revenue, pipeline velocity, and closing.
  • Confidence articulating business value and ROI, even when selling complex or technical solutions.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup where structure is evolving and ownership is high.

What you’ll do

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and win new customers through outbound sales, warm leads, and strategic outreach.
  • Own the entire commercial lifecycle - prospecting, qualification, demos, negotiation, closing, renewal, and upsell.
  • Build and manage a healthy, accurate pipeline with clear forecasts and deal strategies.
  • Drive urgency and momentum in deals, keeping prospects engaged and moving toward a decision.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer pain points and position Hybridity as a must-have solution.
  • Expand existing accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and long-term commercial partnerships.
  • Work closely with Product and Delivery to ensure promises made in sales are delivered in reality.
  • Act as the commercial voice of the customer, feeding market insights back into product and go-to-market strategy.
