"Tech elite invests in "AI for regulatory compliance"

Stockholm-based Hybridity has raised SEK 22 million in new funding, bringing total capital raised to SEK 54 million since its 2023 founding. The round was led by Stefan Lennhammer, with participation from Northzone veterans Hans Otterling and Jörgen Bladh, plus Henrik Ekelund from BTS Group. Hybridity's Hy5 platform uses proprietary AI to automate compliance processes for regulations including DORA, NIS2, CSRD, GDPR, and SFDR. Currently focused on Swedish banks and insurance companies, the company plans to expand across Europe where regulatory compliance costs an estimated €150 billion annually. CEO Magnus Sahlgren, formerly Research Director at AI Sweden, leads the team.
